Dr. Stewart MacKinnon

Dr. Stewart MacKinnon (MBBS, MBA Oxford, LSHTM DrPH) is a Partner on the Africa Impact Team at LeapFrog Investments, the $3B+ AUM global pioneer impact investment firm (founded 2007 by Andrew Kuper, backed by Prudential plc, AIA, TIAA-CREF and Temasek). An Edinburgh Medicine graduate, ex-NHS physician and Omidyar Network Global Health Director (2009–2015), MacKinnon co-leads the LeapFrog Africa healthcare and financial services impact portfolio out of the Lagos liaison office, with the $700M LeapFrog Fund IV Nigeria deployment covering health maintenance organization (HMO) and pensiontech investments.
