Michael Turner

Michael Turner (CA SA) is the co-founder and Managing Partner at EXEO Capital, the Southern African mid-market private equity specialist managing approximately $280M in cumulative AUM across the EXEO Agri-Business Fund, EXEO Southern Africa Opportunities Fund, and the EXEO West Africa Expansion Fund — with LP backing from FMO, BIO, the African Development Bank, and CDC Group. A UNISA Accounting Science Honours graduate, Deloitte Southern Africa Chartered Accountant alumnus, and former AfricInvest Head of Southern Africa (2004–2011), Turner founded EXEO Capital in 2011 with a dedicated Lagos expansion office opened in 2022 for the Nigeria corridor agri-processing, consumer, and healthcare portfolio deployments.
