Torbjorn Caesar is a Senior Partner and Head of Africa at Actis LLP, the $20B+ AUM London-based global emerging markets sustainable private equity and infrastructure investor spun out of the UK's CDC Group in 2004. A Swedish KTH engineer and LBS MBA with 30 years in emerging markets energy and infrastructure PE, Caesar leads the Actis Africa franchise across three core offices (Lagos, Nairobi, Johannesburg) with a 20-year Nigerian track record including the 450MW Azura-Edo IPP — the first successful project-financed Nigerian independent power plant of the 2015–2020 privatisation wave.
